My sister and brother in law drove up from Florida on Saturday and were with us until this morning. We had a great time together. They had so much fun with Jonathan. It was sad to see them go.
Our visit with our social worker went great last Friday. We turned in all our paperwork. And then we received MORE paperwork to complete! Just a few minor things that won't be difficult to finish. We are also enrolling in another adoption parenting class. This one is called "Conspicuous Families" and teaches us what being a multi-racial family is like and helps us understand what it is like for our child as well. Since we are not specifying race or gender, we are expecting, even hoping, for a child of a different racial background.
In case I haven't said it already, this waiting seems INTERMINABLE!
